Following their sell out show at London infamous Jazz Cafe Man Like Me have hit the studio to work on the follow up to their self titled debut album with Clive Langer and, fellow Hannah Management producer , Charlie Andrew at the helm.
The album is due to drop later this year and will feature songs such as The Ex, Run Over and Why Bother. The band are headlining London’s Garage you can buy tickets here.

Dust Devil produced by Clive and Alan for Madness’ most recent studio album has been nominated for song of the year on BBC 6 Music you can vote for the track here.
Both Total Madness and The Liberty Of Norton Folgate have now been certified gold to cap a great year for Clive, Alan and Madness.

Madness’ new greatest hits package Total Madness featuring 23 Langer/Winstanley produced tracks and 22 music videos hit the charts at number 11 this week. It could be the boys second Gold record of the year!

Clive has now finished recording the album demos with Rob Skipper and the Musical differences. The band features ex members of the Holloways, The Paddingtons and The More Assured and these sessions also feature Ronnie Wood on guitar!
A couple of the demo’s are up on the bands myspace now expect big things.

Langer Winstanley produced Madness album The Liberty of Norton Folgate continues to go from strength to strength achieving silver status in less then 3 weeks with sales of over 70,000 in the UK alone. The album is expected to achieve gold status very soon.

Great news for both Clive & Alan and Madness this week they have not one but two albums in the UK top 40.
After its rapturous critical acclaim new album ‘The Liberty Norton Folgate’ has entered the chart at number 5, the highest position for a Madness studio album since 1981’s ‘7′ album. The bands first best of ‘Complete Madness’ originally released in 1982 has re-entered the charts again at number 38 too.
